Paris Travel News - bmibaby airline to cease some operations this summerbmibaby, the low cost operator of bmi airlines, has announced that it will cease to operate all its routes from this summer. It is a blow to many expat communities in France and other European countries that use the companies regional routes for easy access to the UK.
The parent company bmi has been sold to the International Airlines Group and will continue to operate, but whilst evaluating the long term future of the airline, the bmibaby services will be halted.
The French services which will be stopped in two phases are :
Cancelled from 11 June 2012
East Midlands – Nice - 5 weekly
East Midlands – Paris CDG - 9 weekly
Cancelled from 10 September 2012
Birmingham – Nice - 1 Daily
