Masculine / Masculine exhibition – Musée d’Orsay – until 12 January 2014
This exhibition at the Orsay museum in Paris looks at the art of the male nude, from 1800 until the present day. Seen by some as slightly controversial, the exhibition has been extended until 12 January due to its popularity. Please note that some of the artwork may be shocking to visitors, particularly children.

Jordaens - The Pride of Antwerp exhibition – Petit Palais – until 19 January 2014
This exhibition looks at the works of one of the famous 17th century Flemish artists, Jordaens. There has never been a retrospective of the works of Jordaens in France before this exhibition, held at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris (Fine Arts Museum of the city of Paris) in the Petit Palais

Desire and Sensuality exhibition - Jacquemart-André Museum - until 20 January 2014
A piece of England in Paris with this exhibition looking at the Victoria Era with the works of artists famous during the reign of Queen Victoria in the 19th century. There are some 50 paintings on display.

The Grand Palais is showcasing the works of the prolific artist Félix Vallotton until 20 January.

Azzedine Alaïa exhibition - Palais Galliera - until 26 January 2014
The recently renovated Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris (Fashion Museum) - which has now been named as the Palais Galliera - opened with an exhibition of the creations of the designer Azzedine Alaïa.

Erwin Blumenfeld Photography exhibition - Jeu de Paume Gallery - until 26 January 2014
This photography exhibition looks at the works of Erwin Blumenfeld in the gallery within the Tuileries Gardens. Entrance ticket also includes entry to the other temporary exhibition of Natacha Nisic at the same location.
Kanak - Art is a Word Exhibition - Musée du Quai Branly - until 26 January 2014
This unusual exhibition looks at the Kanak culture in the impressive surroundings of the Quai Branly museum close to the Eiffel Tower.
